Director Practice Operations

Principal Responsibilities and Tasks The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification. These are not to be construed as an exhaustive list of all job duties performed by personnel so classified. 1. Oversees the operations of identified practices a. Identifies and achieves operational goals and objectives for the Practices. b. Prepares reports to reflect the performance of the Center on relevant operational activities, including volume, financial performance, and staff productivity. c. Collaborates with the Director, Business Development and Medical Directors to develop annual capital and operating budgets; monitors budgets and identifies significant variances. 2. Management of Community-based EMR a. Oversees and manages prioritization of new implementations, incremental builds, enhancement and optimizations. b. Oversees the EMR and reporting components of Meaningful Use and other applicable Pay for Performance programs. c. Manages compliance. 3. With input from applicable Physician Enterprise Directors, directs the development and ongoing maintenance of enterprise-wide administrative and operational policies and procedures related to: (not intended to be an exhaustive list). a. Non-provider clinical competencies b. Service standards c. Patient satisfaction d. Staffing ratios e. Practice Policies a. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Healthcare, or a related field required. Master's degreepreferred. 2. Five (5) years practice management and/or operational experiencerequired. 3. Extensive knowledge and exposure to electronic medical record implementations and pay for performance programs preferred 4. Valid driver's license required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 1. Highly effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills to communicate effectively with all levels hospital staff, patients, visitors, and levels of staff. Job ID: 65159

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
