Installation Project Manager


The position will require a high level of discretion, tactfulness, and strong interpersonal skills. The ability to multitask and accurately keep track of several projects of varying size and scope is required.
Ideal candidate is responsible for all phases of a project including profitability, accountability and project ownership. Installation Project Manager works with a diverse group of customers (furniture dealer sales managers and associates, dealer project managers, end users, building managers, construction companies, etc.


QUALIFICATIONS



  • Extensive knowledge and experience with specifying and installing all types of office furniture (systems furniture, case goods, and ancillary products)

  • Extensive prior experience with contract office furniture installations, a general knowledge of building trades and site work is also beneficial

  • Product receiving and installation schedule timeline

  • Ability to read and interpret furniture layout drawings and specifications.

  • Ability to evaluate and direct a project?s direction and progress.

  • High level of interpersonal skills and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential

  • Attention to detail, good verbal and written communication.

  • Knowledge, use and operation of standard office equipment and a variety of computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

  • Track project changes from our customers closely and recover these costs

  • Communicate with the customer on project status, progression, change orders, coordination conflicts with the end user?s vendors and subcontractors


REQUIREMENTS?
10 years? experience as a Project Manager with Office installation


Current driver?s license, reliable transportation, and ability to pass background investigation.


Experience in Office Furniture project management and installation



Knowledge, use and operation of standard office equipment and a variety of computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.



Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
