Job Summary:
Under the general direction of the Electrical Group Lead apply state\-of\-the\-art electrical, electronic, communications or computer engineering disciplines to design systems used in underwater anti\-submarine warfare \(ASW\) sonar and oil exploration and monitoring equipment\.The work pertains primarily to electronic circuits, embedded software, and systems concerned with measuring acoustical wave energy and providing telemetry for purposes such as communication, computation, sensing, control, measurement and navigation\. Major activities include digital and analog electronics design as well as extensive use of FPGAs \(Field Programmable Gate Arrays\) and associated design and synthesis tools\.
Responsibilities of Position:
+ Embedded C/C software design and test for microprocessors/System on Chip \(SoC\) implementations\. Focus area include, High speed data message manipulation, Web server and website development\.
+ FPGA design work including VHDL development for Xilinx, Altera, and Microsemi families of FPGAs\. Perform VHDL simulations with ModelSim software\.
+ Support projects from development to production including field support\.
+ Conduct design certification tests and document results\.
+ Examine and develop PWB and assembly level schematics\.
+ Complete assigned project by working with various engineers to provide an engineering solution that encompasses components engineering, software engineering, packaging, and test equipment design\.
+ Troubleshoot issues and recommend design improvements\.
+ Implement the procedures necessary to complete design tasks in a manner that ensures conformance with customer requirements, company standards, and sound engineering practices\.
Attributes/Skills Required/Sought:
+ FPGA experience, preferably VHDL
+ Embedded programming \(C/C \)
Experience/Education Required:
+ BS ? Electrical or Computer Engineering
+ 5 Years of experience in software development

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
