Health & Safety Leader - Federal Market - CIH

ARCADIS is seeking a Health & Safety Leader to join our Environmental Business Consulting team to interface with our national and international consulting staff and clients. The applicant will be involved in a variety of interesting projects for our prestigious clients in the federal, oil & gas, energy, manufacturing, construction, and biopharmaceutical sectors. Army Corps of Engineering experience is highly desired. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a professional expert consulting company on challenging projects for a variety of large US and global clients and attain career growth. The Safety Consultant will conduct and lead business development activities such as client needs assessment meetings, presentations, response to requests for proposals (RFPs), and development of marketing materials. The location for this position could be anywhere on the east coast.
Responsibilities:
Interact with the client to identify needs, propose services, and provide deliverables
Development of Health & Safety / OSHA (H&S) policies and documents for new and on-going operations and projects
Conduct H&S audits on ARCADIS and client projects
Identify unsafe behaviors and unsafe conditions in the workplace using regulatory requirements & best safety practices
Provide support regarding the H&S compliance issues and provide expert opinions
Conduct H&S incident investigations, identify root cause and recommend corrective measures
Develop tailored safety training and provides on-site training classes
Write and review health and safety plans for remediation and support environmental remediation projects with as needed safety consultation for USACE and many other clients
Required
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in science, environmental science, safety or related field.
5 years' experience managing H&S in environmental remediation for construction environment and a minimum of 10 years of construction and/or environmental remediation experience.
CIH mandatory
Understanding of safety plans in accordance with USACE Engineer Manual (EM) 385-1-1
In depth knowledge of Federal & State H&S regulations
Ability to interpret regulatory requirements (federal, state and provincial) and apply them to the workplace.
Ability to collaboratively work on multi-levels of the ARCADIS and client organizations
Effective decision making and leadership
Experience providing on-site training
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and writing capabilities, especially with writing clear, concise EHS procedures and documents.
Acts with integrity in all EHS matters to maintain compliance and excellence
Strong communication/negotiation skills
Ability to multi-task, maintains flexibility, and work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
