A licensed funeral home in Millersville, Md, (Anne Arundel County) has an immediate part-time, opening--Saturdays--on our team for a Funeral Director Assistant.
Duties:
You will be trained and called upon to assist the funeral directors and staff in day-to-day office work and management of funeral home operations.
You will answer telephone calls, maintain the case filing system, interact with customers and families, and pick up and file documents at the Division of Vital Records.
Looking for someone mature and empathetic who can communicate well with grieving families.
Funeral home experience preferred.
Only candidates serious about the funeral profession will be considered.
This position is often considered an entry point into the funeral profession.
